CRUEL NATURE

I love the roses in the garden,

I love to watch the flies go by,

The sun that glistens on the web,

How nature comes alive, then dies.

There is a very potent message,

Hidden in between the leaves,

And when the winds caress each other,

It moves and swirls along the breeze:

What comes and goes is more than seen,

Under the lustrous sea of green.

A peaceful emerald surface shelters,

A natural violence rarely seen.
